My uncle Rusty used to always say,
"You can lead the whores to water but you can't make them sink."
One day I asked him what this meant and he replied...
"You need a soul to sink."
I never asked why you would want to lead a whore to water. I never tried to explain to him that his analogy was innacurate and that the actual analogy involved a horse.
I simply understood that you can't make people change.
Rusty was my horse. We were in the dessert and i'm terrible with directions.
